Welcome to the SUJU MMA website (the “Site”), operated by SUJU MMA (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By accessing this Site, creating an account, or attending a SUJU MMA event, you agree to these Terms and Conditions (“Terms”). These Terms form a legally binding agreement between you and SUJU MMA. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site or our services.
By using our Site or services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to abide by these Terms and any other rules or policies we publish. This includes agreeing to follow all SUJU MMA platform rules, event guidelines, and competition policies. If you are using the Site on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organization to these Terms. We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. We will indicate the “Last Updated” date above when changes are made, and continued use of the Site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age required by your jurisdiction) to use the Site. If you are under the age of 18, you should only use the Site with the involvement of a parent or guardian. By creating an account or using the Site, you affirm that you have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement. You also promise that you are not barred from using our services under any applicable laws (for example, due to local regulations or sanctions).
Users may create accounts for event-related activities such as purchasing tickets, registering as a fighter, or participating in fan engagement features. When registering an account, you agree to:
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate any account that violates these Terms or is suspected of unauthorized or fraudulent activity.
The Site may offer opportunities to purchase event tickets, merchandise, or other one-time services. By making a purchase, you agree to provide a valid payment method and authorize us (or our third-party payment processor) to charge the applicable fees. Please note:
Any additional terms presented to you at the point of purchase (for example, terms of a third-party ticketing service) are hereby incorporated into these Terms by reference.
We expect all users to use the Site and attend events in a respectful and lawful manner. You agree not to misuse our platform or engage in behavior that could harm SUJU MMA, other users, or the integrity of our events. In particular, you agree that you will NOT:
Competition and Participation: All fighters, coaches, and officials participating in SUJU MMA events must adhere to the official SUJU MMA competition ruleset and any competition policies (as provided by SUJU MMA or athletic commissions). By registering as a fighter or participant, you agree to comply with these rules and acknowledge that you may be required to sign additional waivers or agreements as a condition of participation. Violations of competition rules can result in disqualification, ejection from the event, or further disciplinary action at our discretion.
Enforcement: SUJU MMA reserves the right to monitor user conduct on the Site (although we are not obligated to do so) and to investigate any alleged violations of this section. We may remove or edit any user content that, in our judgment, violates these Terms or is otherwise objectionable. We may also suspend or terminate your account for any behavior that we deem inappropriate, unlawful, or in violation of these Terms (see Termination below for more details). If you are at a live event, violation of event rules or unruly behavior may result in your immediate removal from the venue without refund, and potential banning from future events. Illegal conduct may be referred to law enforcement.
All content and materials on the SUJU MMA Site that we provide (excluding User Content as defined below) are the property of SUJU MMA or our licensors. This includes, but is not limited to, the SUJU MMA name and logo, our trademarks and service marks, event footage, images, graphics, website design, text, videos, and audio content. These are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
If you believe that any material on our Site infringes your copyright or other intellectual property rights, please contact us at info@sujumma.com with details, and we will address the issue in accordance with applicable law.
SUJU MMA may allow users to create, post, or share content such as comments, forum posts, messages, photographs, videos, fan art, or other materials (“User Content”). By submitting or posting User Content on our Site, you agree to the following terms:
By posting any User Content, you also agree to abide by any community guidelines or rules we may publish (if applicable), and understand that you use any interactive features at your own risk.
SUJU MMA may integrate or provide links to third-party services to enhance our events and Site. This can include, for example, payment processors, event ticketing platforms, video hosting or streaming services (e.g., embedded YouTube videos), social media plugins, or analytics providers. Please note the following when interacting with third-party tools or links through our Site:
We encourage you to read the terms and privacy policies of any third-party services or websites you visit or interact with.
General “As-Is” Disclaimer: Your use of the SUJU MMA Site and services is at your own risk. The Site and all content, features, and services provided through it are offered “as is” and “as available” without any warranty or guarantee of any kind, either express or implied. SUJU MMA makes no warranties, representations, or endorsements of any kind whatsoever as to the accuracy, reliability, completeness, or timeliness of any information or content provided on the Site. Specifically, we do not warrant that:
Content Discretion: The content on our Site and at our events includes martial arts and combat sports, which by nature involve violence in a competitive sports context. Viewer and attendee discretion is advised. If you find depictions of hand-to-hand combat or competitive violence objectionable or distressing, you should refrain from using the Site or attending events. We present such content for sporting and entertainment purposes and do not promote violence outside of a controlled, regulated environment.
Do Not Try This At Home: All fights and demonstrations featured by SUJU MMA are performed by trained professionals under supervised conditions. Do not attempt to recreate or reenact any techniques, stunts, or activities seen on the Site or at events unless you are properly trained and, where appropriate, under supervision. SUJU MMA is not responsible for any injuries or damages resulting from individuals attempting to imitate moves seen in our content.
Assumption of Risk (Live Events): By attending a SUJU MMA live event (whether as a spectator, volunteer, or participant), you voluntarily assume all risks and dangers incidental to the event. Combat sports events can be hazardous, and there is a possibility of physical injury, illness, or property damage. These risks include, but are not limited to, being struck by persons or objects (e.g. a fighter or equipment leaving the competition area), loud noises, special effects, or crowd-related hazards. You agree that you fully assume all risks of injury to your person or property arising from or related to your attendance at a SUJU MMA event, whether occurring prior to, during, or after the event. SUJU MMA is not responsible for your personal safety or for any lost or stolen belongings at our events. All attendees and participants are expected to follow safety instructions and exercise good judgment. If you are a fighter or other participant in the event, you acknowledge that you are voluntarily participating in a high-risk sport and have likely signed a separate waiver releasing the event organizers from liability to the extent permitted by law.
No Warranty: To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, SUJU MMA disclaims all warranties, express or implied, in connection with the Site, the events, and your use thereof. This includes (but is not limited to) implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement. We cannot guarantee that the Site or services will be suitable for your needs or that using the Site will directly result in any particular outcome (for example, registering as a fighter does not guarantee acceptance into any competition). All information provided is for general informational purposes only and not professional advice.
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties, so some of the above disclaimers may not apply to you. In such case, our warranties will be limited to the minimum extent permitted by applicable law.
Limited Liability: To the fullest extent permitted by law, in no event will SUJU MMA, its parent company, affiliates, officers, employees, agents, or partners be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, under any cause of action (including but not limited to contract, tort, negligence, strict liability, or any other theory) arising out of or relating to your use of the Site, attendance at an event, or these Terms. This includes, for example, damages for lost profits, lost data, personal injury, pain and suffering, emotional distress, or any other damages that may result from:
Cap on Liability: In addition to the above, if for any reason SUJU MMA is found liable to you, our total cumulative liability to you (for all claims combined) will not exceed the total amount (if any) you have paid to SUJU MMA in the twelve (12) months immediately prior to the event giving rise to the liability, or $100 USD, whichever is greater. If you have paid nothing to us in that period, our liability shall be zero, to the extent allowed by law.
Exceptions: Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude or limit liability that cannot be excluded under law. For example, if applicable law prohibits us from disclaiming liability for gross negligence, willful misconduct, or certain statutory warranties, then such provisions shall not apply to you to the extent of that prohibition. Similarly, the above limitations do not affect any liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.
Release: You hereby release SUJU MMA and its affiliates from any and all claims or liability related to any of the matters described above and any other aspect of our Site or events, to the extent permitted by law.
Because some states or jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of liability for consequential or incidental damages, the above limitations may not fully apply to you. In such jurisdictions, our liability is limited to the greatest extent permitted by law.
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless SUJU MMA, its parent and affiliated companies, and each of their respective officers, directors, employees, agents, partners, and representatives (the “Indemnified Parties”) from and against any and all claims, liabilities, damages, judgments, awards, losses, costs, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) that arise out of or relate to any third-party claim resulting from:
SUJU MMA reserves the right, at your expense, to assume the exclusive defense and control of any matter for which you are required to indemnify us, and you agree to cooperate with our defense of such claims. You agree not to settle any such matter without the prior written consent of SUJU MMA. We will make reasonable efforts to notify you of any such claim, action, or proceeding as soon as we become aware of it.
This indemnification obligation will survive the termination of your use of the Site or these Terms.
By You: You may stop using the Site at any time. If you wish to delete your user account, you may do so through your account settings (if available) or by contacting us at info@sujumma.com. Account deletion will remove public visibility of your profile, but certain information may be retained in backups or as required by law or for legitimate business purposes.
By Us: We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account or your access to all or part of the Site at any time, with or without notice, for any reason in our sole discretion. This includes, without limitation, if we believe you have violated these Terms, you pose a security or legal risk, your account is inactive for an extended period, or we discontinue the Site or any portion of it. We also reserve the right to terminate or cancel event participation (such as revoking a ticket or removing you from an event) if you violate our rules or policies or engage in misconduct at an event.
Effect of Termination: Upon any termination of your account or access, the rights and licenses granted to you under these Terms will immediately end. You must cease all use of the Site. Any provisions of these Terms which by their nature should survive termination (such as intellectual property rights, disclaimers, limitations of liability, indemnification, and governing law) will survive. If your account is terminated or suspended by us due to a breach of these Terms or misconduct, you may not create a new account or access the Site without our prior written permission.
SUJU MMA shall not be liable to you or any third party for termination of your account or access to the Site. If you believe your account was terminated in error, you may contact us to request reconsideration, but we make no guarantee that we will reinstate an account.
These Terms and any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms, the Site, or SUJU MMA events will be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, USA, without regard to its conflict of law principles. By using the Site or attending SUJU MMA events, you consent to the personal and exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in the Commonwealth of Virginia for the resolution of any disputes. You agree that any legal action or proceeding arising under these Terms or related to the Site shall be brought exclusively in the courts of Virginia, and you hereby irrevocably submit to the jurisdiction of such courts.
If you are accessing the Site from outside the United States, you are responsible for complying with local laws. Regardless of any statute or law to the contrary, any claim or cause of action by you arising out of or related to use of the Site or these Terms must be filed within one (1) year after such claim or cause of action arose, or be forever barred (this does not apply where prohibited by applicable law).
SUJU MMA may revise or update these Terms from time to time in our sole discretion. We will post any new Terms on this page with a new “Last Updated” date. If the changes are material, we may also notify registered users via email or provide a notice on the Site. It is your responsibility to review these Terms periodically for updates.
By continuing to use the Site or our services after any revised Terms are posted, you accept and agree to the changes. If you do not agree to a change, you must stop using the Site and (if applicable) terminate your account. Any changes will not apply retroactively to any dispute between you and us arising prior to the date on which we posted the revised Terms.
